WisdomForce high-performance Database Data Backup
WisdomForce allows performing fast selective backup of huge tables.
Oracle tables extracted and exported very quickly into a portable text format for selected columns, and/or filter rows by setting conditions.
It is easy creating backups of large tables for Network Attached Storage (NAS) with WisdomForce. Very often a Database Administrator (DBA) has to copy an extremely large table from one production database instance to another. Using regular native database export/import is slow and adds a significant overhead on the production environment. DBA might create a transportable tablespace, detach it from one instance, and attach it to another. Building tablespaces on NFS is not allowed (excluding NetApp). WisdomForce FastReader resolves this issue by unloading data from the tablespace, residing on a regular disk or SAN into a text file on NFS or another NAS mounted device.
Back-up Systems with WisdomForce Database Sync to allow seamless and easy creation and maintenance of hot-backup standby servers. Only transactional changes from source database systems will be propagated. Specific database tables or database schemas could be backed-up selectively .
